but NO! The accounting departments are usually the last ones to receive the information. Instead of being consulted before a business or investment takes place its the opposite. When everything is OK it’s useful to know how much tax you are going to pay but when something goes wrong its always its fault. I’ve been living with this
job for the last 22 long years and until now I couldn’t find someone that gives proper accounting some credit and consider the effort worthwhile. And no matter what it takes it seems that it all can be done in five minutes in a multitasking environment, no accurate attention needed to work with figures that should always represent the “health” of a company.
Hmmm one of this days I will change the blog name to something like “Wailing Wall” if I keep writing this kind of stuff :S
